Miss unAmerica

This past weekend, I watched Miss California (Carrie Prejean), basically, just gift wrap the Miss USA title to Miss North Carolina (Kristen Dalton). Despite Carrie not even being the best looking of the Miss USA contestants, it was clear; the powers that be were trying to give her the title.

To recap what happened, the contestants were at the question and answer stage of the contest and Carrie was asked by Perez Hilton, ( one of the gayest men on the face of the earth) “…..do you think gay-marriage should be legalized across the United States.” And in true Miss USA, mentally handicapped form, she spoke what she actually thought “ …… I think that marriage should be between a man and woman.” Now out of the thousands of acceptable answers that she could have given, she picked the worst one.

But I guess she didn’t need to win, especially when you are going to be consoled by Michael Phelps. I guess after a few hours backstroking [or back toking], she’ll forget all about the title.

The lesson that I take from this is, “ if you are in a game, then you play to win.”
